Join us on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Alfred McCoy Park for the Commemorative Naming Ceremony in honour of Alfred McCoy and his contributions to the community of Stittsville.  

This event will be hosted by Councillor Glen Gower. There will be a few short speeches followed by an unveiling of the park plaque and photos. The park is located at 73 West Ridge Drive, in Stittsville.  There is free street parking along West Ridge Drive

 All are welcome to attend and celebrate the family’s contribution to our community.

Joignez-vous à nous le samedi 5 octobre 2024, à 11 h, au parc Alfred-McCoy à l’occasion de la Cérémonie commémorative de dénomination visant à mettre à l’honneur Alfred McCoy et ses contributions dans la communauté de Stittsville.

Le conseiller Glen Gower animera l’événement, qui comprendra quelques brefs discours, le dévoilement de la plaque du parc et une séance de photos. Le parc est situé à Stittsville, au 73, promenade West Ridge. Le stationnement sur rue est gratuit le long de la promenade West Ridge.

 Vous êtes tous invités à assister à la cérémonie et à saluer la contribution de la famille dans notre communauté.

The City is looking for your help to design a new park in Stittsville South. Silas Bradley Park is a proposed new park in Tartan Homes’ new EdenWylde subdivision. The park will be almost two hectares at the intersection of Hickstead and Orvieto ways, next to the hydro corridor.

You can help by giving your feedback on the park’s final design details and recreation amenities, which you can download here. The proposed amenities were chosen to complement two other proposed parks in the area that the City is currently planning: Howard A. Maguire Park and Ray McCaffrey Park. The deadline for comments is January 17.

Aidez-nous à concevoir le nouveau parc Silas‑Bradley dans Stittsville-Sud

La Ville sollicite votre aide pour la conception d’un nouveau parc qui sera aménagé dans Stittsville-Sud, le parc Silas‑Bradley. Totalisant presque deux hectares, ce parc se trouvera dans le nouveau lotissement EdenWylde de Tartan Homes, à l’angle des voies Hickstead et Orvieto, près du couloir de transport d’électricité.

Pour contribuer à ce projet, donnez votre avis sur le plan de conception détaillé et les installations récréatives proposées, que vous pouvez voir dans ce document à télécharger. Les installations ont été choisies pour complémenter celles de deux autres parcs en cours de conception dans le secteur : les parcs Howard-A.-Maguire et Ray-McCaffrey. La date limite pour soumettre vos commentaires est le 17 janvier.
