Take action this Earth Day by helping care for our community and our planet. A community cleanup is a simple but powerful way to make a difference, and every individual effort counts.
Join Councillor Glen Gower and his team on April 22 at 5:30 p.m. for a community cleanup at W.J. Bell Rotary Peace Park. After the success of last year’s event, we’re pleased to once again partner with the Rotary Club of Ottawa–Stittsville to help keep this park clean and welcoming.
This cleanup takes place on Earth Day, making it a meaningful opportunity to get involved, connect with neighbours, and take positive action for the environment.
We’re looking for volunteers of all ages, friends, families, and neighbours are all welcome. Interested? Send us a message at Glen.Gower@ottawa.ca.
Students: Earn your community involvement hours by joining us! Cleaning the Capital is a meaningful way to give back, earn volunteer hours, and make a positive impact in your community.
Come lend a hand and help us celebrate Earth Day together.
Date: April 22, at 5:30 p.m.
Location: W.J. Bell Rotary Peace Park (1751 Stittsville Main St)
