Before July 1: Show Your Pride 🇨🇦
Before Canada Day, show your pride in Canada by purchasing a lawn sign, “Proudly Canadian” or “Canada – Strong and Free” from the Rotary Club of Ottawa-Stittsville.  Signs cost $15 each and the profits from this sale will support Rotary projects in our community and around the world. To order a sign, please contact Charles Mossman at charcz@yahoo.com.  Payment for the signs may be by e-transfer of $15 to charcz@yahoo.com or in cash at the time of pick-up. Charles will make arrangements with you on how to receive your sign.

July 1: Canada Day Flag Raising Ceremony in Stittsville 🇨🇦

July 1: Stittsville Canada Day Celebrations at the Stittsville Legion 🇨🇦
Join the Stittsville Legion for its annual Canada Day celebration as we mark Canada’s national day and reflect on our country’s history, diversity, culture, and shared sense of pride. The day will feature a full schedule of Canada Day festivities and is a great opportunity to come together as a community. This event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Stittsville Legion located at 1481 Stittsville Main Street

July 1: Canada Day Car Show on Stittsville Main Street/Market
Rev up your Canada Day in Stittsville! Come check out an exciting lineup of classic and custom cars, browse unique finds from local vendors and artisans, and try your luck with 50/50 draws and more! There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Bring your friends, family, and your Canada Day spirit — we’d love to see you there! There will be bouncy castles, The Stittsville Muslim Association has graciously offered their parking lot to house the market vendors. There will be various food stations going on throughout the day including free hotdogs for the kids at the Legion starting at 12:00 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion will feature various games for the kids, a bouncy house as well as a charity jail for those who wish to participate (in the jail) and donate This event runs from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 1453 Stittsville Main Street. Expect to see 150 to 200 cars at the car show! July 1: Stittsville Village Association Canada Day and Fireworks 🇨🇦
Canada Day in Stittsville is a free community event with the purpose of bringing locals together to celebrate Canada’s birthday. Food trucks, massive bubbles, photos with the STITTSVILLE marquee sign, DJ tunes, a stage, band dancers, lawn games, free face painting, giveaways and fireworks will please and entertain all ages during this evening event. Bring your kids, your lawn chairs and your appetites and enjoy a food truck dinner while you eagerly anticipate the amazing Stittsville fireworks display. We will provide picnic tables for you! As always, our event is volunteer planned and run by the volunteers from The Stittsville Village Association. Located at the field behind Sacred Heart High School / CARDELREC-Goulbourn (Abbott @ Shea), 4:00pm-11:00pm. More info…
