Stittsville welcomes the annual 9runrun races on Saturday, October 17, 2026 in support of the First Responders Foundation.
The route includes Abbott Street west of Stittsville Main Street, the Trans Canada Trail, and Jinkinson Road. There’s also a festival and vendors at Village Square Park. Please be aware and expect delays if you are driving in this area on Saturday morning:
- Abbott Street West between Stittsville Main Street and West Ridge Drive will be closed 7:00am-12:00pm.
- West Ridge Drive between Beverly and Eliza Street will be closed intermittently 8:00am-12:00pm and monitored by Ottawa Police.
- There may be delays for drivers travelling on West Ridge Drive as they approach Abbott Street.
- Parking is available close by on side streets, north and south of Abbott. (Please do not park in private parking lots.)
- The race site is served by OC Transpo Route 61 and Route 163.
