Construction of a new bus stop on Abbott Street near École secondaire catholique Paul-Desmarais is expected to start the week of July 6, 2026.
The stop is located at the south-west corner of Abbott Street and Robert Grant Avenue, and work should be completed by back-to-school in the late summer. The new bus stop for Route 163 will provide more convenient access for students at the school and nearby residents. (A bus stop on the north side will also be installed soon.)
To accommodate the work, there will be some lane reductions/closures that will impact traffic over the course of the summer, but the roads and sidewalks will remain open.
