Seasonal winter parking restrictions will be in effect from December 1 to March 31 this winter. Several additional streets in Stittsville will have parking restrictions this winter, and are listed below.
Please check the signs in your neighbourhood and make sure you know the rules. One-sided winter parking restrictions help give City crews better access for snow clearing, improving safety and convenience for residents, school buses, emergency vehicles, and other road users.

New locations for one-sided winter parking restrictions in 2026-2027
The City’s Roads Services department has identified several additional streets in Stittsville for the installation of seasonal (November to March) one-sided parking restrictions. In previous winters, vehicles parked on both sides of these streets have significantly narrowed the roadway, making it difficult for snow-clearing equipment to pass safely. The proposed restrictions would help prevent vehicles from parking opposite one another and ensure sufficient space for larger winter maintenance vehicles to operate safely and effectively.
