Her campaign slogan was: “The experience to navigate City Hall, the heart to advocate for Stittsville.” And that pretty much says it all.
She worked incredibly hard over the past 5+ months on this campaign, and she is going to be a great leader for our community. I’m looking forward to working with her over the next few weeks to ensure a smooth transition and a strong start in her new role.
I also want to thank every candidate who put their name forward on the ballot for Stittsville. They’ve demonstrated leadership and dedication to serving the community, and they’ve made a difference regardless of the outcome. They all deserve a big round of applause.
My term of office continues until November 14. Between now and then, I’ll be winding down our office activities and working with Chelsea towards a smooth transition. I’ll share more information in the next few days in my newsletter and on my web site.

Elle s’est consacrée corps et âme à sa campagne au cours des cinq à six derniers mois et sera une formidable leader pour notre communauté. J’ai hâte de travailler avec elle au cours des prochaines semaines pour assurer une transition en douceur et l’aider à entrer en fonction du bon pied.
Je tiens également à remercier toutes les candidates et tous les candidats qui se sont proposés pour représenter Stittsville. Ils ont tous fait preuve d’un grand sens du leadership et d’un engagement profond à servir la communauté, et apporté leur pierre à l’édifice, indépendamment du résultat. Un grand bravo à eux!
Mon mandat se poursuit jusqu’au 14 novembre. D’ici là, nous allons graduellement conclure les activités de notre bureau et travailler avec Chelsea afin d’assurer une transition harmonieuse.
